Learn Vietnamese: Saigon ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
The App offers optional sign-in with Apple or Google. When you sign in, we receive a user ID, email address (which may be an Apple relay address), and any display name supplied by your provider. Supabase handles authentication and stores this account data.
Vocabulary scores, set completion data, and preferences are stored on your device. If you sign in, this data may be synced to our servers for cross-device access.
Texting Challenge is an optional, online beta feature for signed-in users. When you use it, the messages you type, mission-contact replies, mission progress, and limited technical details needed to operate the conversation are sent to our server and processed by OpenAI's AI service. Do not enter sensitive personal information.
Conversation records are associated with your account and automatically deleted within 30 days of the last activity. You can also delete an individual conversation from the feature, and account deletion removes all Texting Challenge conversations. Product analytics record facts such as a mission or turn being completed, but do not include the text of your messages or replies.
When you use AI photo import, your photos are sent to our server and processed by OpenAI's AI service. They are automatically deleted within one hour.
We collect feature usage and reliability events to improve the App. Events may include a random session ID, device platform, app version, and your user ID when signed in. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting. Texting Challenge message contents are excluded from analytics and crash reports.
Our public website and blog use Google Analytics to understand aggregate engagement. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Apple's App Store and RevenueCat process subscription and credit purchases. We do not receive your payment-card information.
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Texting Challenge should not be used to submit personal information about a child.
You can delete your account and associated data from Settings, or request help at quarterspeak.com/delete-account. In-app deletion has a seven-day grace period; signing back in during that period cancels the request. Afterward, personal information, learning data, AI conversations, and the authentication record are removed. Anonymous aggregate event data may remain but can no longer be linked to you. Apple manages App Store subscriptions separately.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new revision date.
