Learn Vietnamese: Saigon ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
The App offers optional sign-in via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. When you sign in, we collect:
Authentication is handled by Supabase, which securely stores your account credentials. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. If you cannot access the app, you can also submit a deletion request at quarterspeak.com/delete-account.
Your vocabulary scores, set completion data, and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in, this data may be synced to our servers to enable cross-device access.
When you use the AI photo import feature, your photos are sent to our server for processing. Photos are temporarily stored during processing and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We do not retain or share your photos.
We collect usage analytics (e.g., sets completed, features used) to improve the app. Each app session generates a random session ID and records your device platform and app version. Events are sent to our server and to PostHog (product analytics). If you are signed in, events may include your user ID; otherwise they are anonymous. No other personally identifiable information is collected.
On the public Quarterspeak website and blog, we use Google Analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, scrolls, outbound clicks, and other aggregate website engagement. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers. We do not use this data to sell personal information or for third-party advertising.
Subscription and credit purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment information.

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. If you cannot access the app, you may also submit a deletion request at quarterspeak.com/delete-account. In-app deletion requests have a 7-day grace period — if you sign back in within 7 days, your account will be restored. After the grace period, your personal information and authentication record are permanently removed. Anonymous usage data (event counts, feature usage) is retained for product analytics but can no longer be linked to you. Locally stored data can be cleared via the Reset Data option in Settings. Your App Store subscription is managed by Apple and is not affected by account deletion.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
