- I don't understand
Não percebo is the usual European Portuguese way to say you do not understand.
- bathroom
In Portugal, casa de banho is the normal phrase for a bathroom or public restroom.
- thank you (women say obrigada)
Men say obrigado, women say obrigada. It matches the speaker, not the person you’re thanking.
